Dean had been applying for a job. All he had to do was sign the contract. That's the bunch of papers that were sitting in his room. So this could have arguably been his last hunt.
And secondly, the clothes the boys wore in heaven were the same clothes they wore in S1E1. I was wondering at Sam's hoodie, where I'd seen it before, it seemed so out of place for his later clothes, but that was why. I guess that had been Jared's idea.
Oh, and the boys came up with the pie in the face on the fly. And I'm pretty sure that was Robert Singer in the background laughing. Maybe it was supposed to be an outtake, but they ended up using it.
